Subject: Considerations on FBA and BIP Processes
Dear PENT Cadre Members, Leaders, SELPA Directors, and PENT supporters at large:
Welcome back to 2014-2015 school year!
This is the first of this year’s messages on key topics related to behavior.
Jan Tomsky, attorney at law for Fagen Friedman and Fulfrost, familiar to many of us in California, has joined with me to answer some queries that have come in during the ending months of the 2013-2014 school year related to functional assessment and BIP development.
We hope this document provides some clarity for all of us as we move into addressing problem behavior this year.
“None of us is as skilled as all of us!”
