Subject: Dr. Clayton Cook now Director of PENT Research

Greetings PENT Cadre Members, Supporters, ListServ Members, and SELPA Directors,

As some of you may know, Dr. Clayton Cook has been working with PENT on and off since 2006. He was an author and lead researcher on all of PENT’s research publications as well as our keynote for this year’s Forums.

I am pleased to announce that he has now accepted our offer to be the Director of Research for PENT. This is a welcome addition given his vast knowledge and published research in the area of positive behavior supports, behavioral RtI, mental health, multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS), evidenced-based school and classroom practices and fidelity of implementation. Currently, Dr. Cook is an Associate Professor at the University to Washington and in the fall will be Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota . We are really excited about our continued collaboration with Dr. Cook in future Forums as well as future research projects.

Remember, none of us is as skilled as all of us!

Regards,

Diana Browning Wright
PENT Director
